Wavelet is an exploration of movement. Thousands and thousands of lines respond and react to each other to form a rippled water like surface. There is a graphic quality to the image. Stepping back, the two rectangular blocks appear to be moving on the page. Up close, a myriad of lines and delicate detailing travel across the page as each line wraps the corner and connects with the next.
‘Wavelet’ looks beautiful alongside ‘Maze Way.’ Together they investigate movement through line. This artwork also looks amazing beside the colourful images in the Ephemera Collection.
